We are extending a hearty invitation to you to our BDG meeting this evening, 17 May 2016, at 19h00. The topic to be addressed is Social Media and the Law. We are in the era of the Internet, Computers, Facebook, Hash-tags, Instagram’s, Selfies, Twitter, Tweets, Whatsapps, SnapChat, etcetera. It is very important for parents to be well informed so as to steer clear of the potential dangers the Social Media holds. SCHOOL HOURS You are reminded that school starts at 07:45 daily. A friendly but urgent request: Please make sure to drop off your child (ren) before 07:45. Do take note that the gate at Campus 1 will only be opened should the face of the one who rings the bell be visible. Children are too short to be seen. This also holds a safety risk for the children, as they could get entangled with the gate, as has already happened. IMPORTANT DATES:
AFTERCARE People, unknown to us, will not be allowed to fetch any leaner from aftercare unless the parents have notified them in writing in advance. CIVVIE DAY @ R5 – FRIDAY 20 MAY 2016 We are having a fundraiser on Friday, 20 May, in aid of our Sport Fund. Please support us by wearing any SA Team Rugby jersey or Green and Gold on Friday. BDG VERGADERING Ons nooi alle ouers van harte uit na die BDG vergadering vanaand, 17 Mei 2016 om 19:00. Die aktuele onderwerp wat bespreek gaan word is Sosiale Media en die Wet. Dis die era van die Internet, Rekenaars, Facebook, Hash – Tags, Instagram, Selfies, Twitter, Twiets, WhatsApp, SnapChat ensovoorts. Dit is baie belangrik dat ouers goed ingelig is ten einde hierdie doolhof van die poteniele gevare te vermy. SKOOLURE U word daaraan herhinner dat die skool 07:45 begin. U word vriendelik dog baie dringend versoek om leerders voor 07:45 af te laai. Neem asseblief kennis dat die hek by Kampus 1 slegs oopgemaak sal word indien ons die gesig van die persoon wie die klokkie druk, kan sien. Kinders is te kort om gesien te word. Dis maak dit onveilig vir kinders aangesien hulle in die hek verstengel kan raak, soos reeds gebeur het. BELANGRIKE DATUMS:
NASORG Onbekende persone sal nie toegelaat word om kinders by Nasorg te kom haal sonder dat die personeel vooraf skriftelik in kennis gestel is nie. CIVVIE DAG @ R5 – VRYDAG 20 MEI Ons hou Vrydag ‘n fondsinsameling ten bate van die Sporttoerustingfonds. Ons moedig almal aan om Vrydag enige SA span se Rugbytrui of Groen en Goud aan te trek. Stuur asseblief die R5 na die klasonderwysers. PERSONEEL
