TUCKSHOP and CAKE SALES

Service to the School Community
It is a pleasure to inform you that, to comply with the requests from parents, we plan on supplying something healthy to eat every day during one of the breaks to the learners for a trial period of one term.
The system will be evaluated after the first term and adjusted accordingly.

Tuckshop Committee per class
As the teachers cannot do this on their own, we would like to invite parens to volunteer to serve on the Tuckshop Committee for their class.
With the support of volunteering parents, classes will get the opporunity once or twice a term, to plan a healthy menu for the next week.
Sweets will be resticted to Fridays.
Own initiative will be encouraged to put together a healthy and interesting menu.
All parents will receive the menu on the internet on the previous Thursday and will have the opportunity to place their orders, with the money, for the next week on the Friday.
The food will then be prepared for the child.

Purchases
Although donations are more than welcome and will be appreciated, the cost of purchases will be covered by the money received from the orders placed in advance.
The purchases and preparation will be done by the Tuckshop Committee of parents in that specific class in co-operation with the class teacher.

Distribution of Profit
80% of the profit of the project will be use to purchase readers and learning material for that specific class.
20% of the profit will go to the school.
