We are very proud of all our learners that took part in the Tygerberg International Eistedfodd this year. We want to invite you to join us on Tuesday 6 September to see what they achieved. Everyone that took part in the Eistedfodd will have a chance to showcase their talents. Tickets will be sold at the door @ R5 per person. Participants do not have to pay. SPRING DAY – 1 SEPTEMBER: Learners are welcome to wear any spring coloured clothing with a flower featuring somewhere. It can be in their hair or pinned onto clothes. It is just a symbol that we embrace the new season of life and growth at Destinatus. It is FREE. CASUAL DAY – FRIDAY 2 SEPTEMBER: If you have a sticker for casual day, you may wear normal clothes on this Friday. You are welcome to contact Gerhard to order your casual day sticker for this worthy course. Gerhard@destinatus.co.za (See attachment for more information.) This is not compulsory. Campus 2 also have a Gr 7 entrepreneurial day and we would like the learners to support them with the sales at their stalls as well. We want to stand in unity as we pray for our children, school, community and land. We will be praying for a new, healthy community where lives are changed forever, love is lived and people care. There will be 3 specific areas that we will pray for during this time: Spiritual awakening (revival) Isaiah 62:6,7); Saving the unsaved (Acts 15:16) and Social justice (Luke 18:7,8). Ons is baie trots op al ons leerders wat vanjaar deelgeneem het aan die Tygerberg Internasionale Eistedfodd. Op Dinsdag, 6 September gee ons aan al die ouers die geleentheid om te kom loer wat hulle behaal het. Ons gee vir ALMAL wat deelgeneem het die geleentheid om met hulle talente te kom spog. Daar sal kaartjies by die deure beskikbaar wees @ R5 per besoekers. Kinders wat optree is gratis. LENTEDAG – 1 SEPTEMBER: Leerders kan in lente kleure skool toe kom. Sit gerus ‘n blom iewers in die hare of op die klere vas. Dit is sommer net ‘n teken van ‘n nuwe seisoen en ons verwelkom die vrolikheid. Dit is GRATIS. LOSLITDAG – VRYDAG, 2 SEPTEMBER: Indien leerders op die dag ‘n plakker gekoop het, mag hulle gewone klere dra. U is welkom om by Gerhard Fourie u bestelling vir hierdie goeie doel te plaas. BRACKENFELL 4 JESUS: Ons wil graag die “Brackenfell 4 Jesus” inisiatief ondersteun deur tussen 17 en 30 Oktober 2016 as skool saam te bid vir ons kinders, gesinne, skool, gemeenskap en land. Ons gaan ‘n kamer by Kampus 1 en ‘n tent by Kampus 2 in rig sodat enige iemand gedurende die dag welkom is om te kom vir gebed of om net op hul eie stil te raak en in eenheid te bid vir herlewing in ons land. Ons gaan spesifiek bid vir: geestelike herlewing (Jesaja 62:6,7); redding van ongereddes (Handelinge 15:16) en sosiale geregtigheid (Lukas 18: 7,8). Ons gaan saam met die res van Brackenfell gedurende die tyd kruise en bome met rooi materiaal toevou om aan te dui dat ons in eenheid met ander gelowiges in die omgewing staan. DESTINATUS SPAN |
